Update 14 Oct 2010:-  It’s a year since our last show and the emails just keep coming. Thank you!  If you are new to this site, then you won’t know that we had to quit the show last year due to a lack of funds. We’ve always said we would return if we can make something that is truly “FullFlap.TV”. FullFlap.TV clearly went far beyond just an online TV show. It reached experienced pilots, trainee pilots and future pilots across the world and said, “flying remains the greatest adventure on earth and YOU can be a part of it”. So, if you know a TV company or a rich person who’d like to fund it, we’ll be back next week! :) .................The FullFlap.TV Team

Bio: We’re lucky to have Vicki. Expect to see her reporting for the BBC from trouble spots around world in the next few years. Vicki is on THE best journalism course in the UK right now and is already making waves at the BBC. While Vicki is studying hard news she loves getting involved with the fun of FullFlap.TV. Afterall she’s a wing walker!

Bio: Rick is a SEP JAR PPL. He’s edited, reported and presented international and national news for most of the top commercial radio organisations in the UK. Until recently he hosted a daily, 4 hour “drive time” news programme. He has edited and presented serious quality news and teen based news. He has also written briefly for an aviation magazine but as he says, “my gramar and speling are worse than a 2 year olds.” Rick took up flying a few years ago after giving up rally driving. “Flying is safer and a lot, lot cheaper”, he tells us.

Most likely to say: “phew, we got away with it again!!!”

Jo Newsholme

Bio: If you can’t find Jo trying to thumb a lift in a plane, you’ll find her on the slopes carving up some fresh powder on her snowboard. Jo is a adventure sports fan so not surprisingly when the chance to get airborne came up with FullFlap.TV, she jumped at the chance. Jo has been with us from the very start. Her raw enthusiasm and love of excitement was just what we wanted to show that GA passengers are just as welcome at FullFlap.TV. Jo works full time as a news producer at a major news outfit but pops her head in as much as possible. Expect to see more of Jo in the future.

Martin Bethell

Bio: Martin joined us for the first time as a last minute stand in for Rick but blew us away with his insight into commercial aviation. He is a DHL 757 pilot by day. In his spare time he is a committee member for the British Disabled Flying Association.
