Update 14 Oct 2010:-  It’s a year since our last show and the emails just keep coming. Thank you!  If you are new to this site, then you won’t know that we had to quit the show last year due to a lack of funds. We’ve always said we would return if we can make something that is truly “FullFlap.TV”. FullFlap.TV clearly went far beyond just an online TV show. It reached experienced pilots, trainee pilots and future pilots across the world and said, “flying remains the greatest adventure on earth and YOU can be a part of it”. So, if you know a TV company or a rich person who’d like to fund it, we’ll be back next week! :) .................The FullFlap.TV Team

Today

FullFlap.TV is developing fast, reaching pilots and newcomers around the world. We are also being approached by organisations across the globe to work with them too. It’s very exciting for a group of pilots who just wanted to tell everyone about the amazing thrill of flying. The excitement amongst the team for the future is huge.

6th March 2009

After all the work getting FullFlap.TV set up, we finally start filming some new material which proves an instant hit again. It kicks off with a night flying feature.

12th January 2009

The show begins a new year with a special show in front a small live audience. It proves a huge success. Membership is growing fast and the show continues to spread across the world.

2nd September 2008

FullFlap.TV Connect is launched with Vicki Ferrar presenting. A weekly, five minute round up of private flying news. It becomes an immediate hit.

Within 3 weeks it was getting longer and more packed with features again. After 3 months people had viewed FullFlap.TV nearly 40,000 times in 65 countries.

1st July 2008

First of 2 pilot shows is released. Each is 30 minutes long and packed with features. It gains a loyal following but it doesn`t make the impact the producers had hoped for amongst new potential fliers.

16th June 2008

The first pilot show and website is released quietly allowing a period of testing by passing web traffic.

Summer 2007

A race between public transport and C172 is shown to a group of pilots. 20 minutes later there is nothing but praise and offers of help.

Early 2007

A discussion at Cranfield among a couple of pilots leads to discussions of a show and the name. FullFlap.
